Sarah Lau is Associate Vice President, Finance at TD Bank Group with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. In her current role, she oversees financial reporting controls as part of the Chief Accountant’s Department. Prior to her current role, Sarah was leading financial planning & analysis for Corporate functions including Real Estate, Finance & Treasury, HR, Sourcing and Sustainability & Corporate Citizenship within TD’s Corporate segment. Sarah began her career at TD in the Accounting Policy & Advisory group and spent a number of years advising on complex accounting transactions and helping the bank to transition to new IFRS accounting standards.
Prior to joining TD, Sarah worked at PwC where she was part of their Audit and Assurance Group focused on financial services, mutual funds and hedge funds audits. Sarah is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and obtained her Masters and undergraduate degrees from the University of Waterloo.
